    Chocolate Caramel Brownies

What a weekend! Eclipse Dance Company was all over the place! Our big event, among others this weekend, was the International Festival of Arts and Ideas. We had a 30  minute piece that we put on for the festival and it went really well. 30 minutes of dancing straight through, btdubs. No stopping. Thirty.Minutes.Straight.Through. Whew! It was a warm day as well and the performance was on an outside stage, so it was interesting to say the least. With all of the extra rehearsals we have been pulling this month, 2 sometimes 3 times a week from 9pm-midnight. It has been a very tense and stressful month, but we made…

Chef to Farm Dinner at Rosedale Farms

NO I didn’t fall off the face of the earth, I am here! I haven’t posted AT ALL this week and it feels so strange…I have been pretty busy and haven’t really made anything worth mentioning on here. However, I will have some really great things for you next week. I will be attending a Halloween themed Chili Cook-Off which I am SUPER excited for. I love dressing up for Halloween I think it is a blast 😀 Btdubs, I got SNOW last night. Yes, snow. At my house. On the ground. Snow. They are predicting 8-10″ tomorrow. It is October! Don’t get me wrong, I LOOOVE snow. Like ♥…

(yup, that happened haha) I had the best weekend ever! I went to NYC and visited with not 1, not 2, but 4! of my friends from college and high school. I most definitely needed this weekend…it was so nice to visit and see the girls and get to visit and catch up. It is always nice so catch up. Everyone is so spread…

    Lattitude

🙂 I hope you all are having a great weekend so far! Tino’s birthday was a complete success…he loved the brownies and dinner was fantastic! Guess what?! He even won $100 from a scratch ticket that his Dad bought him, imagine that! So, I took Tino out to Latitude last night (see Birthday Brownies post to visit website). It was actually a really nice dinner. The restaurant was a modern place, very modern decor. It probably sat about 50 people in the main dining area and maybe 30 in the bar. Relatively a small place compared to most of the places that we have gone. Let’s start off with the…

    Baton Rouge, LA

Sometimes work isn’t always bad…This past week I spent some time in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for work. WHAT A FABULOUS PLACE!! I do a lot of work with a company called Turner Industries in Port Allen, LA. I had never seen their facility after working with my company for 2 years and I just couldn’t resist anymore. Let me tell you, I did SO much eating down there I think I am still full from it now. I cannot believe the amount of food that those people wanted me to eat down there. It was just one thing after another. They have so much food all the time and while…

    Pananas Restaurant

I woke up this morning to SUN! YAY! 🙂 We got so much rain over the past few days. I think overall in my area we got anywhere between 6″-12″ of rain depending on where you were. That is more rain that we got all summer! Crazy…it did however make for some pretty pictures this morning as I sipped my coffee in the brisk 60 degree weather. (pictures courtesy of Mr. Liebro’s plants) The reason for my post today is because I went to a restaurant last night in Agawam, Mass and I wanted to share it with you all. It was one of the better meals that I have…

    The Big E

The Eastern States Exposition! Also known as The Big E. This is a fair that is put together every year for about 3-1/2 weeks in West Springfield, Massachusetts. They have everything you could possibly think of at the Big E…food, beer, crafts, shopping, rides, shows and entertainment, animals, and my personal favorite the State Buildings. If you click on the picture above it will take you to the website so you can see all the different attractions they have. I mainly wanted to share the food with you because, well…this IS a food blog haha ;-). Like any usual fair there was of course the carnival food, the fried Oreos,…

    Opa-Opa!

(Just as a quick side note: I was unable to take any pictures of the sushi that I had on Thursday night with my supplier…not really one of those dinners that I could take out my camera and just randomly start taking shots, haha ;-). BUT, the sushi was amazing! I had salmon and tuna rolls mostly for the sushi…they were phenomenal.) This weekend my boyfriend took me to the Westfield Airshow. There were so many cool planes from different eras there. You could walk right up to the planes and actually go into some of them. They had different acts where the planes flew over the crowd and did…

To dine or Not to dine

I have to admit…sometimes it is nice to dine out! I swear sometimes even a mediocre meal can be fabulous when you dine out, JUST because you aren’t the one making it, hehe ;-). Honestly, I have been blessed in my dining experiences…I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I was less than satisfied with a meal I had out on the town. So, I can’t complain. Just recently I went to a restaurant in Cape Cod (Provincetown) that was really good AND had a really nice dining setting. It was called Pepe’s Wharf Restaurant and had a really nice menu (and by nice – I…

    Boxed Lunch

There is this place in Wellfleet, Mass called Boxed Lunch. It is a little hole in the wall place that serves GREAT wraps…check it out: The Californian So delicious! Avacado, turkey, sprouts, tomato, hint of mayo (I’d rather go without) AND WHO CAN GO WITHOUT THESE IN CAPE COD?!? no one. Enjoy!
