Curly Parsley Potato Biscuits
Happy Monday! (don’t worry I am not one of those overly hyper Monday people, just trying to be positive haha) How was your weekend? I hope it was good 🙂 Mine was pretty easy going. I did a lot relaxing after Friday night. Which was needed really. I have this little tickle in my throat, I am SO hoping that doesn’t mean I am getting sick. Blah to getting sick! Patrick and I went to Noel and Jim’s wedding on Friday and it was so much fun! We had a great time dancing the night away. I think the best part of the night was the photo booth though. They…

Football Cookies
How was your Superbowl Sunday? Did your team win? I wasn’t really partial to either one of the teams. I don’t care for Brady or Eli all that much. Truly, I was hoping to see the Packers in the Superbowl. Not that they are a team I follow closely, but I thought they deserved it. I am a Chiefs and Steelers fan, so both of my teams were gone long before the Superbowl. Although my Chiefs did win against the Packers so that was exciting. Not that it had any kind of bearing on the Packers at all, but delivering their first lost was definitely a proud moment for my…

Black Bean Burgers
The moving is still going on. We have made some major headway and I am glad to report that we will be finishing up this weekend! WOOT! Saturday morning we have a crew of guys coming over to help with the really big furniture, which will make this entire process a lot easier. With moving as much as I have in my life, I have gotten pretty good at boxing and moving things…but those big pieces of furniture they are a b*tch to move! One word of advice if you ever do move, use a moving company. I know it is pricey but I promise it will be worth it…

Blueberry Pomegranate Muffins
1 week down of the detox. Doing well! I baked some muffins yesterday when I had my break for Sunday Dinner. 1 week to go and then I will be all done. I am going strong. Although I do miss having a piece of toast or oatmeal with my breakfast haha 😉 I have a confession… I.am.obsessed.with.Pinterest. Like obsessed! I happened to stumble across it once or twice and then have seen a lot of foodies using it and then had a coworker mention it, so I HAD to check it out. If you haven’t ever, do so! Especially if you like pictures, it is like heaven for anyone who…

Fishy Quinoa
Hello everyone…how are you this week? This week has been kinda gone fast for me so far. For a few reasons really… Patrick and I have been working to get him moved out of his apartment because we are moving in together :-), and when I say working, I mean…like we have barely done anything haha. He has to be out of his apartment by the 9th of February so we really need to get our a$$es in gear. We have done SOME, but not nearly as much as we need to. I am hoping this weekend that we can REALLLLLLY get to work and get some things moved. Wish…

Cider and Herb Pork
How is everyone doing this AM? Hopefully well. I am SO glad it is Friday. Although I cannot believe that it is the 9th of December! Yowza! Has anyone noticed anything different about my blog? It has been a little colder since the start of December…I wonder if that is because of the weather (*ahem can you see the snow?). I am amazed at how quickly time flies. I have gotten all of my Christmas shopping done (besides the day I go shopping with my Dad for my Mom, I have always been the one designated as Dad’s Christmas shopping partner because I help him pick out the good stuff…

Orange Scented Buttermilk Scones
I feel like I haven’t posted in like a week…wait, I haven’t! haha…things have been SO busy! Thanksgiving was wonderful and very low key, which I enjoyed VERY much. I was able to enjoy it with my parents, Patrick, and some of our neighbors and it was a very lovely, and stuffed, Thanksgiving. I also was able to meet Patrick’s bother and his wife. We went out for dinner in NYC. Very interesting place we went to called the Gotham Bar & Grill. A tad on the expensive side (*ahem* with tip about $600 for 4 people, just a TAD on the expensive side 😉 ). It was really nice…

Mini Chocolate & Peanut Butter Cookies
Yay Patrick! Look at you go, your Whole Wheat Waffles made the Top 9! Thanks everyone for the Top 9, I know Patrick is really excited about it. You should have seen his face when I showed him the notification on my phone this morning at 6:30am haha. Too cute! I am so excited that Turkey day is tomorrow. I think I am more excited about not having to go to work than anything else haha. Sometimes you just need a break you know? It will be nice to just spend some time with the family cooking and telling stories and then napping once we stuff ourselves with turkey hehe…

Whole Wheat Waffles with Strawberries
This week is Thanksgiving and I cannot tell you how excited I am. I love the holidays! Like love them. The parties, the family, the food, the snow. Just love it. I have a lot of exciting things happening in the next couple months. Not only is it going to be Thanksgiving this week, but I am also meeting Patrick’s bother (Justin) and his wife (Lindsay) the day after the holiday. We are meeting in NYC, which should be fun. Maybe go see the Christmas tree in Rockefeller center and have a nice fancy dinner in the big apple. If you haven’t ever seen the Christmas tree in NYC, you…

Apple Muffins
This has been a sad week for me. I am sure that you all have heard about the things that have been happening at Penn State. It is almost impossible to turn on your computer or TV without seeing 10 stories about JoePa and his Nittany Lions. I am heartbroken. That is the easiest way to explain it. I am absolutely mortified and disgusted that a man like Sandusky was associated with Penn State. The crimes that he committed are completely unforgivable and I pray for the families and the boys affected; that they may someday be able to heal from this tragedy. My heart is also very heavy with…
