What a weekend! Eclipse Dance Company was all over the place! Our big event, among others this weekend, was the International Festival of Arts and Ideas. We had a 30 minute piece that we put on for the festival and it went really well. 30 minutes of dancing straight through, btdubs. No stopping. Thirty.Minutes.Straight.Through. Whew! It was a warm day as well and the performance was on an outside stage, so it was interesting to say the least. Bake Sale
Hello all!! I wanted to let you know about Becky’s online bake sale, if you haven’t heard about it already! Her bake sale proceeds are going to her Relay for Life effort to support the American Cancer Society. I think it is great that she is doing this! She graciously donated for my Breast Cancer Walk in July so when she asked me to be a baker in her bake sale, I was more than happy to join the cause and help out! Pot Stickers
I am such a dork…I literally get so excited about the silliest things. For example, I painted my nails green for St. Patty’s Day (also my favorite color). I wanted to make sure to get them painted before my trip to California…whaddya think? Greeeeeeen! Guess what else I am excited about?! I am leaving for California today!! :-D. Yay!!! Calzones & Dance
I have great news! I auditioned for a professional dance company in Longmeadow, Mass and they want me to dance with them! AHHH! So excited! I have been a dancer since I was 2 years old and ever since I graduated from college it has been hard to find a modern dance company. I am so happy to be dancing again, I have missed it so much! The only bad part is that the rehearsals are 9:30pm on Mondays (sometimes Sunday) nights. Phew! Makes for a long evening….I normally don’t get home until just before midnight. Getting home so late last night has made me a little groggy this morning…and…
