Portugal!
So it is official, I will be in Portugal in a day! AHHH! Who is excited?! This girl! Needless to say I will not be posting next week because I will be traveling and most likely won’t have much internet access (thank goodness). I am needing this break though. Hello my dears! How have you been!?? How was your Labor Day? Mine was spent hiking up the Sandia Peak, but more on that later. I just wanted to do a quick post and let you know that I am alive. Hello! I am back from Detroit! UGH, what a trip that was! Literally the day I left it was snowing once again in CT haha. What a winter we have had! They were canceling flights left and right at Bradley Airport, but for some reason the only flight that seemed to still be leaving was my Delta flight to Detroit, haha. Once I got to Detroit the weather wasn’t that bad at all. I was really surprised. Normally Detroit has much more snow than us by this time. Off to PA
I am off to Harrisburg this morning on business. Going to be MIA for the next couple of days. I don’t get back until Friday! The only good thing about the trip is that there will be Yuengling (YUM!). If you don’t know what that is check it out here Yuengling. It is the best beer ever! The cookies were a hit! Everyone really enjoyed them. I have to say I really do like the taste of the icing. Baton Rouge, LA
Sometimes work isn’t always bad…This past week I spent some time in Baton Rouge, Louisiana for work. WHAT A FABULOUS PLACE!! I do a lot of work with a company called Turner Industries in Port Allen, LA. I had never seen their facility after working with my company for 2 years and I just couldn’t resist anymore. Let me tell you, I did SO much eating down there I think I am still full from it now. I cannot believe the amount of food that those people wanted me to eat down there.
