Bake Sale for Breast Cancer Walk!
Hiiii there everyone!! I hope you all are having a fabulous week so far! Mine has been SO busy, which to tell you the truth I kind of prefer.
Becky’s Bake Sale was a complete success!! She raised $660 for the American Cancer Society through it! I am so proud of her she did SUCH a great job putting it together and it seemed to go very well! CONGRATS BECKY! Congrats also to Mr. Stephen Luffy for having the winning bid on my Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Blondies!
Speaking of Bake Sales…the team that I am working with to try and walk for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure is having a bake sale today where I work to try and raise money for the cause. So far we have raised $3,900 as a team! How great is that?! Each of us has to raise $2,300 to be able to participate in the walk this summer that is 60-miles long, so we are hoping that we will get some good sales today. This is the first of many fundraising events that we are doing before the walk. For those of you who have donated for me, thank you SO very much! From the perspective of someone that was able to purchase some of these goodies at the bake sale, I can attest to how great they were. Most are commenting on the looks and I can tell you they look better in person. The detailed rose made with frosting on the cupcakes was amazing. But the real deal was the taste (and the only thing that matters in my book) and you can honestly taste the difference that puts Ravens baking and cooking into a whole new level of amazing. I have never tasted quality at that level. I just wanted to hold the brownie in my mouth all day, but that’s not part of the dress code at work. To everyone that posts here and has blogs that inspire Raven and are inspired by her, please make an effort to try her stuff sometime, you’ll be blown away.
