Big Apple Barbecue Block Party in NYC
Are you ready for this post my fellow foodies? I was invited to attend the Big Apple Barbecue Block Party presented by Southern Living, Cooking Light, MyRecipes and RealSimple. It took place in NYC on June 8th & 9th in Madison Square Park. It was the 11th annual block party and it was so much fun! There were cooking classes, live performances, vendor tents with tools and foods, live demonstrations of cooking and cocktail ideas, and best of all BBQ all day long! Pot Stickers
I am such a dork…I literally get so excited about the silliest things. For example, I painted my nails green for St. Patty’s Day (also my favorite color). I wanted to make sure to get them painted before my trip to California…whaddya think? Greeeeeeen! Guess what else I am excited about?! I am leaving for California today!! :-D. Yay!!! Great Food for Great Friends
Saturday of this past weekend was a fun day…I invited over some good friends and we had a great time eating, drinking, and just socializing. Once I knew that people were going to be coming over I decided I wanted to do something a little different for dinner than what I normally do. It is always great to break from the mold :-).
