Dark Chocolate & Reese’s Pieces Cookies
So, guess who is still sick? That would be Raven :-(. Can you believe that? I am struggling, I will tell you that. I thought this would be a couple days of being sick. I got a full 4 days of being sick under my belt so far. YUCK! To say the least I got absolutely nothing done this weekend besides cooking lots of goodies. Including the yummy looking cookies that you see to the right. I saw this recipe while I was cruising around FoodBuzz and it just looked so good that I had to try it. I changed it up a little to make it a little more of my own (added chocolate haha).
Ingredients for Dark Chocolate & Reese’s Pieces Cookies:
- 2-1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 sticks of butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 package nestle dark chocolate chips
- 1 package Reese’s Pieces
Preheat your oven to 375º. I used a nonstick pan and the cookies took about 8-10 minutes to cook. Depending on the size.
Add your eggs in one at a time. Then add in your flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix up until it looks like the dough below. Add your Reese’s pieces and dark chocolate.
Place on your cookie sheets. I could fit about 12 on my sheets.
Yum, these were really good. I feel like when I am sick…I still like to cook things. Makes me feel better. I hope you are all having a great Monday! Hopefully I will be in tip top shape tomorrow to share the rest of my cooking adventures from this weekend.

I’m sure those cookies will help perk you up! Maybe that’s what my kids need right now? They’ve been catching colds left and right. Makes me wonder why I cook all these meals from scratch to keep them healthy? Bring on the chocolate!
RavieNomNoms
Oh I hope they don’t have what I have! Haha..I do feel like whenever school starts again more people at work get sick. That sounds like a great motto to me Laura, bring on the chocolate! Hehe

I hope you feel better soon. These cookies have to have some sort of medicinal properties to them. 🙂 Which FoodBuzz blogger made the original recipe?

You can find the original recipe I adapted here: http://dreamaboutfood.blogspot.com/2010/10/reeses-pieces-peanut-butter-cookies.html
