Garlic Recipes
Hello all! I know I have been kinda MIA again…this week is absolute craziness for me because my co-worker is out for 2 weeks. So I am having to do all of his work on top of all of mine. Makes for some busy days. Needless to say I have been so busy that I haven’t really made any yummy food lately :-(. COMPLETE bummer!
Between the performances that are going on with the dancing company, rehearsals, work, and just daily life I have completely slacked on the making food front. I am just so exhausted when I get home from work that I barely can even make myself go to the gym. There is one good thing this week is going to bring me though…lots and lots of SNOW! We got quite a bit on Saturday night, which was so much fun driving home from the dance performance in. OH! By the way, here are the girls (and guy):
We are supposed to get anywhere from 12-16″ of snow from tonight into tomorrow. Snow day anyone? Keep your fingers crossed!
Anyways, as I was getting myself settled into work today I came across some interesting recipes that I just needed to share with you since I have been so bad at actually making anything for the past few days. Check this out: Garlic Recipes
All of you know how much I love garlic so I just couldn’t resist reading this article! YUM! Also this website is awesome for great little fun facts about food and also has great recipes. I have it as my homepage on my computer 🙂
I hope you all are having a great start to your week!

I’m so excited for more snow! Although I had to drive to NYC in the snow last week, yuck! How much snow needs to fall before I can say that I couldn’t walk to work? 🙂

Me too! I can’t even tell you! haha that’s pretty funny, living in New England we never get days off for snow, but since they are calling for so much I am hoping for at least a delay!

Thanks for the garlic post Raven! We LOVE garlic in my house also. There is no such thing as too much garlic for us! Those recipes, tips etc look amazing! I’m hungry now! Maybe I will go to the gym now instead of later. Careful in the snow! I wish I had a snow day! (But living in Florida now if I had a snow day that would really be news!) Enjoy!

You are very welcome! Garlic is always in my house, I cannot live without it!

I started eating and using garlic in my 20’s…I could not stand the smell before, and now I think that I could not live without it! Looks great!

I too love garlic! From just being roasted and spreading on a crostini to in pasta sauce. The soup you featured looks SO tasty. Cold here for the Bay Area – 32 degrees in the morning, no snow. Stay warm! 🙂

Me too Lisa!

Hopefully the snow hasn’t slowed you down too much. It sounds like you have a busy life right now.
Garlic is my favorite addition to anything savory. YUM!
RavieNomNoms
Thanks Kristen, and I agree. Garlic can go with anything savory!

Thanks for sharing a great article! I am planning a superbowl “fiesta,” and I think I just found the guacamole recipe I’m going to try in that article!
