Nachos and a Present for Ravie!
Oh my goodness…Oh my goodness…Oh my goodness!! I cannot even tell you how very excited I am at this moment! So…. I decided on my way in from work this morning that I was going to do what I have wanted to do for a very VERY long time. Buy myself a digital SLR camera. I have always loved taking pictures! I mean even back in high school I took a photography class and I had a SLR that I used for that and I just loved it. I am one of those people who is constantly taking pictures of just about everything. It tends to annoying the sh*t π…

Spicy Pasta
It is Wednesday and today is my work Holiday party…so you know what that means right?! HALF DAY! I feel like I am back in elementary school where I am getting an early dismissal. It is always nice to get a break from the office π I finally got the cold weather I have been praying for but the snow is still lacking…we got a dusting of snow earlier this week but nothing you can play in haha. Send your positive foodie vibes my way for some snow…I am desperate! I love spicy food. Any kind of spicy food, I will definitely reach for it! Every time I make pasta…

Sesame Chicken
Another weekend has come and gone. It is amazing to me how quickly my weekends seem to pass the older I get. I was just having a conversation with my good friend Tamara about how I miss being younger and having life be a bit simpler. I miss the days when someone read a fairytale and then I was given a small carton of milk before my afternoon nap. Those were the days! I feel like anything I can do to make my life more simple is always a good thing. THAT is why I wanted to share this recipe with you. I was given a lot of cookbooks a…

The Mary Jane Special
Happy Monday Everyone! I would have to say that I am having a severe case of the Mondays today. Just not having a good day. Work has gotten frustrating again. Sometimes it is hard to put in all the work I do when I get no credit for it. My boss told me today that I have a 45 minute presentation to give to some sales people TOMORROW! No notice at all! Very frustrating. Anyways, this past weekend was Tino’s birthday as most of you know by the previous posts. His mom invited us over for dinner on Saturday night celebrate his birthday. We had a really nice time and…

Chicken Scaloppine with Lemon Sugar Snap Peas and Asparagus
Another week has started already! I don’t know about you, but this year is just flying by me. I can’t believe that it is September…I can’t believe that September is almost over!! I guess that phrase is right “time flies when you are having fun”. π I have a feeling that this week is going to be a good one. I think work has been going better lately, which is a huge stress relief for me. I have been doing really well and just bringing in the big bucks for the company, haha! I don’t mean to beep my own horn but…BEEP! π It is hard to be younger and…

Chicken Wraps with Pesto Aoili
So, I left the blogging world there for a couple days…sorry my fellow bloggers! I am back…I just had such a rough week at work. Had one of those work weeks that makes you question what you do and why you work so hard. Was feeling kind of down on myself, but I am so glad it is Friday and that I get a few days off from work. Actually this weekend my parents are throwing a BBQ, which I am actually going to help my mom with ALL day tomorrow prepare for. So hopefully I will have lots of fun pictures for your viewing pleasure at the end of…

Kabobs
Love summer time! Summer time to me is so much fun, not just for the sun and vacations…but for the grill! I find that if I am ever in doubt as to what I should make for dinner…I head for the grill. You can make some of the best food on the grill….although I have to admit I have had some mishaps. Like, for example, the first time I tried to make pizza on the grill. Let’s just say the people at the grocery store saw me twice in one day, one hour apart. π Anyways, I wanted to make something on the grill and kabobs are always a good…

Chicken and Veggies
Little more food for everyone…I enjoy cooking with fresh ingredients…I seldom cook with anything but! It is hard sometimes in the winter though, which is why I love the summer SO much! π (sautΓ© mushrooms with butter and garlic, toss in tomatoes for sweet taste – cook on high heat until liquid is reduced. Throw in peppers at last second so they do not lose their bright colors.) (marinate chicken in lemon juice, salt, pepper, rosemary, and olive oil for an hour. Grill up and eat warm) Ingredients: Chicken, Rosemary, Red peppers, Green peppers, Mushrooms, tomatoes, garlic, salt and pepper to taste.
