Thursday Tidbits
I wanted to share some good news with you all!
Patrick got a new job and his first day is today…:-D
He is excited about it and I am excited for him. He was feeling a little trapped in his current job and I am so glad that he was able to find something that he feels like he will be challenged at.
So yay for Patrick!
I felt so funny this am putting some cookies and blondies (recipes to come) in his lunch bag with a note on the baggie that says “I hope you have a great 1st day!”. Hehe, I am a dork like that.
I did put up some new decorations in my cube…
This way I can see him whenever I want to during the day. Yes I also have a Snoopy on my desk. I am pretty much obsessed with Snoopy.
I have like 3 calendars on my desk that are Snoopy. He is cute, what can I say?
This morning for breakfast I braved an Apple and peanut butter. You know I could eat peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon and be completely happy. haha
I did however have to take off the skin because I still can’t get through it with my teeth. Am I ever going to be able to chew normally again?
FYI…
It is still hard to chew an apple when you can’t use your back teeth.
EVEN IF you remove the skin.
Darn, I was hoping that I could do well with that.
I love apples and I hate that this has been my first one in a week.
EEEK!
I did have some lovely mashed potatoes last night though. Those were pretty deliciouso if I do say so myself.
Slowly trying to get meat back into my diet as well. Had some Lemon Chicken that Patrick grilled last night with the mashed potatoes.
Granted I only ate about 1/2 a piece. But that is probably the serving size I should be having according to nutritionists and magazines. ::shrugs::
This week is supplier week at work for me which means that I will be going to lots of dinners and meetings with suppliers that I deal with on a daily basis.
But it also means that tomorrow we have a golf tournament that I always play in. 
I normally don’t play great, but I have a great time trying haha.
That is the best you can do right?
My dentist has told me that since I had so many hiccups with my recovery that I should probably take it easy. Which kind of stinks because that basically means I can’t golf, but at least I can hang out with my teammates!
OH my stitches have come unraveled! What a pain and the neck this has been, and I have a sneaky feeling that they didn’t take out my top wisdom tooth. I am not going to be happy camper if I show up for my check up on Monday and they tell me I have to go through this again! ugh.
I would also like to say that I am having a weird obsession with pink lately?

Me?! PINK?!
When I was little I was obsessed with pink. I mean my entire room was like cotton candy pink. I have been acquiring more and more pink items and I have even noticed it. I mean look at my skirt today!
PINK!
I am going to have to stop it or I will wind up like my mom who only has black in her closet. For a while ever item of clothing I had was blue and then I donated it and started over.

Not to shabby if you ask me!
Anyways, enough randomness for one day.

Congrats to your hubby and I love your pink skirt. Eating normally again takes a while. Nine days after my surgery was the first time I tried to eat meat and I was in so much pain afterwards. It gets better, though.
