Too many Summer Tomatoes??
I don’t know about you, but I am elbow deep in tomatoes right now. I am sure most of you have seen my previous tomato posts. The tomato pie, the salsa, etc. Well…I completely forgot about one of my favorite things to have in the summer time with fresh juicy tomatoes….
BLTs!
That’s right people, RavieNomNoms loves BLTs. The fresh tomato, lettuce, and crispy bacon…mmmmm, YUM! Can there be a more simple and satisfying delight?!? I think not!
I do tend to adapt my BLTs just slightly as I do most things to make them slightly healthier than the original. I hope you enjoy my take on the classic BLT sandwich.
Ingredients for BLT:
- Whole wheat wrap
- Low fat Mayo (I personally prefer Miracle Whip)
- Bacon (try Turkey Bacon, it is awesome!)
- Romaine lettuce
- Tomato
I only have 2 words…NomNoms! ๐

YUM!! We’ve been eating BLT’s all summer but I never thought of doing them in a wrap. Great idea!! I think I could eat them daily during tomato season. So, you know what I’ve forgotten to make? There’s a lot of tomatoes here too! But they’re all GREEN! ๐ Your wrap looks good though in fact I love BLT’s. Any ideas for green tomatoes? Hahaha!
