    Apple Muffins

This has been a sad week for me. I am sure that you all have heard about the things that have been happening at Penn State. It is almost impossible to turn on your computer or TV without seeing 10 stories about JoePa and his Nittany Lions. I am heartbroken. That is the easiest way to explain it. I am absolutely mortified and disgusted that a man like Sandusky was associated with Penn State. Thank you again everyone for the Top 9 for my Spicy Asian Chicken Noodle Soup!! WOW! I am so happy that you all think my stuff is good enough to buzz. Made my day! Really πŸ˜€ I cannot tell you how glad I am that it is Friday today! I have had a hellish week. I just started a new job in the past 2 weeks, which is good because I get paid more, haha, but bad because I have WAY more work. I am still in that adjustment phase where it is new. Peach Blueberry Muffins

I am SO glad it is the weekend. What a week! I know I know…I say that ALL the time. But this week…really, what a frekkin’ week. This weekend will be full of football watching (Go PSU, Chiefs, and Steelers!) and baking I am sure. I have this recipe I want to try that I am…

I did it!! People I did it! Finally, I have been talking for months and months to so many of you about how I wanted to make donuts and I finally did it! Thank goodness I made them before the hurricane came through my town though. We have been without power now for 3 days. Which means, no cooking and no showering :-(. My sweet lion was nice enough to let me come over and get a shower in yesterday…thank goodness for that! This is what it looked like on either end of the street I live on…trees are down everywhere in the Northeast. From the sounds of it, the…
