Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Blondies

Don’t forget Becky’s Bake Sale is coming up soon!! May 2nd!

I am still so excited to be a part of her bake sale! There are so many incredible people participating with some really amazing looking recipes. The recipe that I wanted to share with you all today is the bake sale item that I will submitting for Becky’s bake sale.

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Blondies…mmmm mmmm!

You are going to be amazed how how easy these are and what fantastic results you will get with so few ingredients.

Ingredients for Chocolate Chip Peanut butter Blondies:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350º.

Line a 10″x15″ jelly roll pan with parchment paper.

In a mixer, cream together butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Add the vanilla and peanut butter. Feel free to use creamy peanut butter too, I personally just thought the chunky would be a nice touch.

Combine the flour and baking powder in a bowl to the side and then add to the peanut butter mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips…yyuuumm…that is my favorite part.**WARNING: you will have a hard time not eating the entire bowl of dough before you get it to the pan, it smells fabulous!**

Spray down the jelly roll pan with cooking spray, I always like to do this, just ensures that nothing will stick. Getting the dough into the jelly roll pan is kind of tricky…so be patient. It is sticky just like cookie dough is so you have to work with it to get it line the pan.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the tops of the blondies look dry. Cool in pan and then cut into squares.

See?? Now how simple is that? The best part is, they are super delicious too!

Come by Becky’s Bake Sale next week and check out all the other baked goodies that everyone else has made. I promise you won’t be disappointed! Happy Baking! 🙂
